Have had plenty of chute "experiences" over the years. Some don't make any
sense to me, but that's another story. Never had one unload the front axle,
but they will unload the rear.
On my current car I found the CG (about center of trans and cam height on my
car) than took a string and ran it from the CG out to where the chute will
deploy (allow for diameter of deployed chute from ground) and built the
mount on that line.
