Non-LSR -- picture post sites?

I know some of you have posted your photos on this-or-that public site 
-- where you can post whatever you want, for free, no hassles.  And 
that way one and all can share 'em.  I've got the photos -- don't need 
Kodak or Wal-Mart to process 'em.  Some are on paper and I'd scan 'em 
in, some are digital.

I don't really want to post things on my own website -- I'd open it up 
to too many spammers or scammers, I fear.

I'd appreciate some references to those free sites.
