Some officials from the USFRA were at the salt Tuesday 10-18-05. They were
there to secure some of the course prep equipment for the coming winter.
The salt is still flooded. After they got the drags elevated out of the
salt on to railroad ties, they took a few photos. World Finals were to have
ended three days ago. As the photos illustrate, while there a few patches
of salt not under water, there is no suitable area for a race course. We
just thought you might like to see current conditions.
