I was assuming it was just an updated Snell date. The new Snell05s are out,
but many dealers don't have them yet. Be sure that if you buy one, you specify
that it must have the 05, and not 00, otherwise, it "runs out" five years
sooner for nothing. If there are other changes in the requirements, somebody
speak up soon, because I was going to order my new helmet this week.
Personally, I prefer the Snell M05 for it's wider vision over the SA05. Some
of the new Bells and Simptons use Nomex in the M as well as SA.
