I've been in Tucson in July and August, during the monsoon season.
It will be 110 and then comes a thunder storm. Tucson has the most
advanced, modern, high tech, extreme Thunder Storms I've ever seen!
So while the rain goes by almost horizontally, the temp falls to
maybe 100 and the dew point goes up to 80.
OBTW -- you better wear safety glasses when it's raining those BIG
drops in a 40 MPH breeze.
The rest of the time it's beautiful.
