my current thinking is for XF/MR. The car would be a '27 T with conventional 
engine-trans layout but the trans output would be to a transfer-case or marine 
style V-drive with the drive shaft running parallel to the crankshaft back to 
the front axle.The front axle might come from an early ford Bronco (Dana 44). I 
am aware of Gil Gillis and his records his car is one of my inspirations but I 
do not know how to contact him directly.
