Maintenance this weekend is to MY spirit.
I have a friend in NY that totaled his Ford GT and had Roush (in Allen Park Mi)
rebuild it. Basically a tub replacement, so the car is now completely hand
built by the people that did the construction of all the prototype and
development cars. (Probably the most knowledgeable about this car)
Dave asked me to test the car over the weekend and find anything that needs
correcting. He will fly in to pick up the car in two weeks.
I'm having a ball with this thing, except it has rained some time every day I
have had it. This car is the most ballanced nimble and fastest thing I have
ever been in. And driveable in traffic. The brakes are more impressive than
acceleration , and this thing has 600 dyno horsies pushing it around. (more
boost) and a few other upgrades that he doesn't talk about much.
The folks that can afford these cars don't worry about warranty. Nor do they
worry about some silly line racer getting over his head. So, its not raining
yet so I'm gonna go give my neighbor a ride.
Oh this is almost as good as a salt fix.
