Two of my latest postings to answer Otto and others on the JCB seem to have
failed to reach the list.

Will not repeat anything but the summary points.

JCB were a team using the event to demonstrate worldwide their prowess and
skills. Any dirty uniforms would have looked bad. The numbers I feel sure
related to operations on private time, not at speed week.

There is unlikely to be any corporate interest in most of the thousands of
SCTA classes. Corporate money aims at the fastest or at a record for a
discernable body shape.

I hope that the World Finals will see good salt and good weather this year
and the same for the El Mirage meet that follows - my US itinerary appears
to be able to pick up both events, that I have never attended before.

Malcolm Pittwood, Derby, England.
