Who is using a hydraulic throttle control? How about a cable system?
Comments regarding throttle hookups?

I have an intake that positions the carburetor at almost a forty five
degree angle on top of the motor, (Edelbrock Torker) so a straight rod
throttle is
out of the question. I would need at least two bell cranks in the system.
I think I would rather use either a cable or a hydraulic system.

Hi Dick

I found the Morse cable to be overkill for a throttle and "klunky". I
considered going $hydraulic$ but went for a smaller braided stainless cable
similar
to Morse but smaller and more flexible. It slides easier than Morse so it is
more sensitive and gives a better pedal feel.

I got mine from _www.goodvibesracing.com_ (http://www.goodvibesracing.com)

Part# CC-PCTG-216 Chute cable, 18', can be shortened. Normally $36.00 but
tell them Otto sent you and they will undoubtedly say, "WHO????"

They sell them for $31.00, racers discount. It has cool threaded, adjustable
ends for easy mounting through a hole in a bracket.

I have also bought bulk brake/shift cable from bicycle shops and made my
own. They sell similar cool threaded ends too!

Otto
