non lsr, whats up

Gave up on 57 to much smoke, needs new engine.
gone to work on 34 again, trying to make it run. found out distributor caps
for later model engine, almost broke dist. Thats what happens when you start
with basket case. also distributor only goes on one way , it has an offset on
drive. again almost broke dist. ordering parts. and coverting to 12volts.
