Sliding tethers allow looking side to side. Is that neccessary in your case?

Hey everyone, I'm looking at HANS devices and wonder which tether, sliding or
fixed should I get. The seat is at 40 degrees and my neck is 15 so I need a
medium 40. Just wonder about the tethers. Thanks, Tom
