A friend of mine just dropped a valve in his TD. He says that it poked a
hole in the head into the water jacket and the machine shop he took it
to said it is not repairable. I have several questions:
1) Does anyone know anything about repairing something like this?
2) If indeed it is not repairable, do all of the heads(early or late;
banana or round holes) work with all blocks if you use the correct
gasket?
3) Does anyone have a spare head that they would like to sell,
preferably not too far from the York, PA area where he is? And of course
how much would such a head cost?
