TD Engine Temp

All,

I know this's prob'ly been asked a million times, but what is the operating 
temp, (in fahrenheit and cel) for a TD?  The reason I ask is that I finally 
got my TD out yesterday, and the car ran 80-90 degrees on the gauge.  I'm 
sure it didn't help that it was 90 in the shade here in  Northern Virginia, 
but the top end of the engine temp seems a bit hot.
