I got what I condider to be an excellent result on my TD using PPG
urethane DBU clear coat over a base coat.
I had never painted a car before, and appreciated the ability to erase
spraying errors through color sanding the clear coat. I still ended
up redoing most sections, but the paint job continues to get
compliments wherever I go.

What kind of paint will produce the very best looking and durable
results?
Lacquer? Acrylic enamel? Urethane? Polyurethane? Etc?
What brand is the best? DuPont? PPG? Sikens?
I am not an authenticity zealot and cost is a secondary consideration.
