MGTD Oil Thrower

When I pulled the engine from my TD apart, I noticed that it had
been leaking oil from the front timing chain cover around the crank
pulley. Upon disassembly I found that it did not have the oil thrower.

I have a spare oil thrower from an MGA 1500 and was hoping that someone
could tell me if the oil thrower for an MGA will fit the TD engine?
