I'm sure it's not kosher, but I've attached the flasher to the steering 
column with a hose clamp.  Had one just big enough to go around the 
column and the flasher and tightened it up just enough to hold 
everything there.  I did put a scrap piece of rubber around both to make 
it all non skid.  Before I did this it used to just hang underneath.
