Interesting question and I hadn't looked at it very closely before. The
number may have originally been 88422. At least I think the last digit
was originally a 2 judging from what's left of it. But the last 2 has
had about 75% of it ground off and a 5 stamped in place of the 2. I
know I never did that, and can't think of any reason why anyone else
would have done it EXCEPT the factory.
