I forgot to add a PS to my original reply. The squeak could also be
coming from the tach drive gear box. If this is the case, it could be a
worn out gearbox, but in the majority of cases it is alsothe result of
tight belts and a worn rear generator bushing. The worn bushing (and
tight belt) causes the armature int he generator to run at an angle,
putting strain n ht edrive shaft to the tach drive gearbox.
