TC fuel and brake lines

Gentlemen

1. Am I correct in remembering that the pipe from the tank to the pump has a
joint somewhere along the way? If so, does anyone know the lengths of the two
parts?

2. Does the spiral wire wrapping on the brake lines have any finish? Cad plate
maybe?
