Andy,
There's not much of a TF body that can't be fixed or bought as a
replacement, I helped my back door neighbor restore a TF that was a
pile of parts by a fence - and it turned into a show car when it was
completed. Don't give up...take your time. Learn to weld and fix as
much of it as you can yourself.
