hello again... o.k the 1/2 tonneau was an installation success...thanks to
all.....
its pesky old me with another MGTD Mark II nitty question.. am having trouble
fitting the shinny aluminum part of the intake manifold to the carb faces and
also noticed that the threaded stud in the bottom of the intake manifold
doesnt reach to the little "U" saddle where you would normally both it atop
the the cross memeber manifiold behind the carbs... john twist had indicated
to me that he did not think i had a set of Mark II carbs... but that they were
fine and indeed the car runs perfectly... i saw recently an e bay ad for an
MG TD air cleaner and it sadi fits all TD's except the mark II... so thus my
question.
Also both fuel pumps grounded with wire to frame beneath scuttle?? wire
routing?? wire color?? my harness although new doesn't have said wire..
Ground the fuel tank sending unit also??? from where to where??
Lastly..... was the MGTD drivers handbook as original...creme color or blue
color..... i've seen both?
