A local man contacted me wanting help with selling his '56 MGA. He is
older and doesn't want to use it any more.
It is an older restoration, but was not driven much since being
restored. It is a 1500 model, red with tan interior. It looks very
nice and starts easily and runs well. He said that the top and side
curtains were new when the car was restored.
The car will need some minor detailing. I noticed that the edges of the
door panels around the hole inside are coming loose. Also the master
cylinder leaked on the paint on the shelf under the hood. Other
cosmetic work in the engine compartment will be necessary.
I have some pictures which I can email out to anyone interested.
He is asking $25,000, but is very motivated and willing to negotiate.
He wants to sell it fairly quickly.
