I've seen a few T cars with flatheads.  They were pretty crude and 
hacked up.  Not something you would really want to duplicate.  You might 
reconsider.  I've see a couple of early Volvo conversions.  While not 
exactly what I would want, the are also period-correct and a much better 
fit.  From what I remember seeing,  the installations were much better 
implemented than the flathead hatchet jobs.
