Sound proofing causing rust

Has anyone had problems with soundproofing causing rust ?   If so what was 
used as a soundproofing material?  The stuff I am considering is that 5mil 
self-adhesive bitumastic stuff with a top layer of foil - something like 
the Dynamat material.
