How far the rear axle?

Folks at world,

Assuming the bump stops and the rebound straps are fitted on my MGB GT V8 
can anyone tell me what the vertical travel of the rear axle is assuming 
normal driving conditions?   Obviously it stops at the bump stop but how 
far does/can it go down?
