Fellow fiends:
Obviously, my alt-D key has been too active lately. About a week back
someone posted to the list that they were looking for an MGA coupe to buy.
I didn't save the message, but as it turns out, a local club couple may want
to sell theirs. I don't have any details on the car but I'm pretty sure
they just want to thin out their collection (3 MGs at present; an A, B and
C!) and they'd decided to sell the A. If memory serves, the C will be a
wedding present for their son and daughter-in-law (nuts, all I received from
my parents when I got married was a bunch of furniture!).
If the person looking for the coupe sees this, post back to me and I'll get
a phone number for the seller. The car is located in suburban Detroit. I
could go take a look at the thing if anyone is interested. I have owned and
restored an A and have some experience in shopping for them.
Sorry to bomb the list with this nuisance stuff. What the heck, if we can
bring some fellow and his dream car together, (snif), I guess its worth it.

P.S. I can echo the gist of TeriAnn's message; the lbcs are starting to pop
up again, just like the tulips (but not out of the ground). Its a sure sign
of spring.
