I recently bought a '71 B and there were no keys what-so-ever.  The PO and I
had to hot wire the car.  Instead of buying a new lock (ignition and steering
combo), I took the mess off of the steering column and went to the local
locksmith.  One day later (sorta) and $15.00 shorter, I had a new key made to
order.  No sweat!
