Piece of cake.
As long as the DPO hasn't put in a radio or electric tach, all you need to do
is reverse the battery leads, the coil leads, and if you have a 2 lead fuel
pump, do them too. Now run a jump cable from your new + hot at the solonoid
to the generator and spark the field coil connection for about 3 seconds to
repolarize it, should take care of everything.
Do pay attention to battery terminals, some have smaller connections on one
polarity than the other, so the reversed connections won't fit right until
replaced.
