RE: Differential nut

First and foremost, WHY DO YOU WANT TO REMOVE IT??????

This nut is tightened so as to apply a preload to the differential pinion 
and bearings. Unless you plan to disassemble the diff and replace parts, 
what is the need to loosen the nut? If that is the plan, then the diff needs 
so come out of the rear axle, so where's the beef?
