Can anyone tell me anything about the 1974 rubber nosed MGB's. My sister
has just purchased the above mentioned vehicle and will tomorrow take
delivery of it. Apparently this car has been lowered as the previous owner
didn't like the car's handling characteristics. Is this an advantage, or
does this affect other areas such as steering?
The vehicle itself has been imported from the US and converted to rhd. It
has had a back to metal respray and restoration. It is racing green in
colour and has a 4 speed, but is without the overdrive.
Can anyone also tell me about parts availability in Australia for this
particular model, Victoria in particular. Whilst my sister does have a real
love of sportscars, unfortunately she is not the type to even check the
radiator level, let alone fix any major repairs.
Also, are the rubber nosed vehicles as highly prized as the previous model
MGB's?
