As a newbie to the MG world, I was surprised to find that my '75 Midget =
seems a bit sloshy. I was expecting more a "shopping cart" ride. =
Although it is admittedly difficult to put into words, what kind of =
"ride" should I expect from the car? What can be done, if anything, to:
- "stiffen" the ride
- lower the ride height
- decrease body roll
I should add, at this point, that the tires are cheap all season radials =
(they're brand new, so I'm going to leave them on for a little while, =
anyhow). Would a set of Pirelli's (or a comparable tire with stiffer =
sidewalls and softer tread) help the situation?
