I'm looking for a Glen ? formerly <Railroad2.aol.com>. He recently sent
something on this BBS. I keep getting returned mail like there is something
wrong with AOL (or that address?). Anyway, Glen if you are out there, here is
your answer to your questions about the MGC-GT for sale. Please call me for
more (619) 384-2289 after 5pm Pacific:

I'm pretty sure it's the correct mileage, however you never know. When I said
the interior is shot I meant that the sun had gotten to it, not that it was
"worn".
You have to understand our weather situation out here. We're in whats
called the "high desert" of California (2400 ft above sea level). One of the
great things is (because of the desert) the average yearly relative humidity
is in the 10 - 30% so rust is non-existent. I have a 79B and I dare you to
find a spec of rust and I have done nothing to the car. One of the bad
things, however, is 110+ degree days in the summer. This causes vinyl to
deteriorate rapidly if you don't cover your car (especially with enclosed cars
like the GT). This particular MGC has sat for several years uncovered so the
sun has baked the interior and when you leave it uncovered in the hot sun
without proper care the paint fades also. Once again, this is a good car for
a restoration project if you don't want to work with metal! John
