Chris,

I have been using a black dye product for years and can't imagine there is a
better product on the market. It is made by SEM Products, Inc. and marketed
under the name "Vinyl Topper". It is a latex dye that cleans up with water,
yet when it dries is not affected by moisture. It is applied with a foam
brush or even just a piece of good foam cut to shape. A friend of mine in
Memphis that reconditions the interiors of private airplanes and small
commercial jets put me onto it.

It's not easy to find someone who retails this product, but you might try
calling them to see where you can find it locally. Their phone number is
 1/800-831-1122.

I have no financial or other interest in this product or company. However, I
have been very happy with the many uses I have found for it while restoring
MGs.
