I may be way out to lunch (or, on my way out to lunch, I forget which), but
one of the aspects of a breathing system is the expiration.  This motor
cannot be using the MGB manifold  as there is no room for it in the Engine
Compartment of an 'A'.  There are some reputed problems at high RPM with
this installation but, although I've never heard of any problems at idle
speeds, perhaps there may be some.

        Maybe I'll go for lunch now.
