This is one of those good news bad news sorts of posts.

This weekend my wife and I got to drive our '67 MG midget.
We bought it off a friend, fixed up quite a bit of the suspension
(converting from wire to disc wheels), installed a panhard rod
and finally got it moving, turning and stopping under its own
power. With sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s it was
very nice.

Unfortunately, when I started cataloguing all the little things
wrong with the car, and what it would take to fix them, I realized
that I'd rather put that time and effort into my Mk II sprite.
Couple that with the fact that I'm out of work, we don't have
enough parking and my MGB-GT just returned from getting a roll
cage put into it and now needs body work and the engine rebuilt,
we have decided that we had better sell the car before we become
so emotionally attached to it, that we can't.

It is a '67 midget with a 1275 motor, disk wheels and the top is
in decent shape. The interior is a bit ratty, it needs a
universal joint and I believe that a detent ball is missing from
the tranny. The suspension has been recently gone over (with solid
bushings). Also the car has a roll bar. It is in Felton California
(near Santa Cruz). We'll be asking between $1000-$1500 for the car.
