As to why your TR6 parts had Standard written all over them, that is another
story in British Automobile history....The Standard Motor Car company bought
the defunct Triumph company in about 1944 and after the war began producing
products under the Standard-Triumph name....one of their most precious
products was called the Triumph Mayflower, a classic for all time!!!
