after everyone elses comments about going to 4syncro trans in early
cars, it got me to thinking.
i am currently in the process of restoring a 65 B (at least the title
says 65) 3main, 3synchro, pull door handles, diaphram pcv valve.
originally old english white (which i hate) here come the color comments
again.
the motor is finished with the transmission bolted to it sitting on my
workbench.
but, i am going to scrap out a 71B which was rear-ended. it has
overdrive on it.
my original intent was to keep the 65/64/? as original as possible, but
i have this 4snycro with o/d for free. can i really change the trans
including o/d? can i really keep the old style starter?
what do i do.
p.s. i think im going to keep old english white.
