Subject: Oil leakage in rear brakes?!

Fellow MG-owners!
I=B4m preparing my MGB-66 for the summer and when I removed the brake drum =
on the right hand side (wire weels) I found oil of some kind splashed all =
over the interior of the brake. (I could not see any damage on the wheel =
cylinder and it seems to be dry.) My idea was to check and replace the =
oilseal but since I=B4ve never done that before would I like some advice =
first.

- Have I understood it right if I think that the axleshaft will have to be =
removed?
- If the axelshaft is to be removed is it crucial that it is put back in =
exactely the same position?
- Is there anything else that I should take care of while I=B4m at it?
- Any good ideas on how to fill oil back into the system? (I know where to =
fill but it=B4s a tricky angle)
- Are the brake shoes likely to suffer from a cleaning with petrol?

Thanks in advance!
Lars Palm
