I have a '79B and am looking for a source or substitute for the blue
vinyl tape covering the wiring harness. There is a section of harness
under the dash where the DPO or a DPSP (Dreaded Previous Service
Person) removed a part of the covering and wrapped it with black
electrical tape. I know, this part isn't seen, but while I have the
dash out, I thought I would do it up right. And, some of the wiring in
the engine area has the blue tape coming off. I don't want to use just
any cheap blue electrical tape; it probably wouldn't last long with the
heat in the engine bay. Seems like I remember reading here or somewhere
else that this tape is not adhesive, either, but I don't know how it
would be held on.
Any help would be appreciated.
