Gawd! I love pampering myself vicariously through the MG!

The '77 rolled out of my driveway last Friday, with Randy Simmons from
Cornerbrook, Newfoundland as rightful owner. Pleased that the car is off to
a good home...sad to see it go, though....

Anyhow..the center console arrived from Randy @ Strictly British (usual
disclaimers to the following), and I have to compliment Randy on the quality
of the product (exactly as described), the price, and above all - the
shipping. An international affair, it was a learning curve for Randy I
understand, but now that he's poised, I can't recommend anyone higher. If
you're lookin' for something unique - he just may have what you need. Thus
far, on odd-ball items - we're 100%!

Also arriving this week, the resin 1/24th body of the GT - also superb! It's
a beautiful rendering of the GT, adapted to the Aoshima MGB roadster body.
It is a perfect replication. I can hardly wait to get going on that some
rainy day...

Hopefully, the next two days will see my new Molita wheel arrive from
England - and along with the newfound console, the roadster will be lookin'
better than ever for a British car gathering this Saturday.

It doesn't get much better than this...

Well, OK, maybe a lap at Indy, but hey - y'can't have it all. To everyone
who attended - welcome back. Sounded like a class event. Anyone off to John
Twist's Annual Summer Party?

Cheers!
