In the August issue of MG Enthusiast there is a half page article w/photos of
a V8 conversion MGA seen at Indy '96.

The car has been widened by 5 inches (using stock bonnet and front wings!)
before a 5.0 liter Ford w/5sp Ford trans and Mustang diff was installed.
 From a distance, hard to recognize from stock....up close..a definite
"middle age spread". Owned by Charles Dougherty of Kentucky, USA
