Yes, they were. Behind the vinyl covering of the dash on the passenger
side, there are a series of slots that could be cut through to make the
opening for the face of the radio. Reach up behind the dash, and you will
find them. I don't know where the antenna was on a 62, but on my 60 it
was on the right side of the cowl just ahead of the windshield.
