For MGs nothing approaches MG Enthusiast, but with some reservations.

First, it is 90% related to the British scene. I met Martyn Wise in 1990
on the COB. Martyn really had little contact with Americans to that point
in time. We spent a whole day together crossing the Yorkshire dales from
York to the coast (North Sea) Although Martyn was born and raised in
Yorkshire, it took this American in a TF to get him to Runswick Bay (the
boyhood vacation home of Cecil Kimber) For those who are interested in this
day, please read or order by back issue Vol 11 No. 4. (1990) In any event
this article reveals Martyn's admitted and false feelings about Americans.

This past year Martyn made his first trip to the states, and went to Indy.
Some of you met him there. He's a terrific person, very bright, and
hopefully his magazine will get cheaper and cover more of the American Scene.

It is really interesting how the British support interest magazines in a
way we in the states don't. He sells most of his issues through news stands
rather than subscription. This would be impossible in the states.

MG Magazine published here is really quite good also. However its
circulation is so small, it is impossible to include the number of articles
and pages as does MG Enthusiast. We who have most of the cars produced have
as a total group little appreciation of the MG as a marque as contrasted
with the Brits. That's too bad, but That's the way it is.
