Presumably machinery will still require lubricants.  Will these be 
produced from other sources?  If not it is my understanding that 
refineries cannot stop producing one product while continuing to 
produce the others in similar quantities as before.  As more vehicles 
use alternative power demand for petrol will drop and the price fall.
