Rich,
        I carved it myself.  Actually, I have carved two.  The first had a
radio in the center and a glove box.  It also had speakers in the center of
the dash so you can actually hear the radio.  The second has a radio
where the glove box would be (ala MGA) and a small storage cubby
beneath the speakers.  If I ever get my act together I will post pictures on
a web page.  If you are interested I will send you some pictures of my
car with the first dash (which is for sale, cheap, actually for only a bit
more than the cost of the wood).  You need to do some modification to
the wiring harness but it makes an interesting car.  I also carved
mahogany door rails and door pulls and put a mahogany plate over the
console where the shifter is.  The dash is very thick mahogany and
replaces the old dash, not cover it.
