Give Robert Kirk (Kirk's auto refitters) a call at 1800-547-5747. Many C
owners have paid his work compliments in the C-Notes newsletter. I believe
his fee for resleeving a MGC MC is $140.

Yup. Long story, short. When I bought my TC it had virtually NO brakes. 3
wheel cylinders seized and one leaking. A machinist friend bored out and
sleaved the wheel cylinders with stainless and I installed a "Phil Marino"
master cylinder, new shoes and rubber bits and now it'll stop faster than
it'll accelerate (a LOT faster!). At $175+ per wheel cylinder I think my
cost of a dozen Guiness was a fairly good deal. The only problem my friend
encountered was he had to make a special jig to mount the cylinders in the
lathe. If you can find someone whos already done this or line up a few
cylinders to sleeve, any setup cost will be reduced.
