Finally something I can easily give an answer on :-)
For someone who is more convinced by pictures; It's also in
the MOSS catalogue!

For a LHD MGB from that era the dash layout (switches and
gauges) is from left to right:

- (on the floor) high beam switch; 
- overdrive switch (optional);
- fuel gauge;
- tachometer;
- (on the steering column) turnindicator switch/high beam
signal switch;
- dashlight dimmer switch;
- speedometer;
- combined temperature/oil pressure gauge;
- (above) running lights/low beam push/pull switch;
- (below) choke knob;
- contact/starter key;
- windshield washer pump;
- wiper switch (one speed)
- heater fan switch;
- (above) heater temperature controlknob;
- (below) off/interior/screen air control knob;    
- interior courtesy light;
- interior light switch;

That should be it.
