Yes, I agree.  My 69 B has an after market pump (6 yrs. old now and still 
pumping) and I'm waiting for it to crap out so I can eplace it because it is 
always making a clicking sound.  The Sus in my others cars only click to fill 
the carb bowls or when there is nothing to pump!!!

Although I'm an S.U. man myself, I'm told that some aftermarket fuel
pumps do this, even under normal circumstances.  If an S.U. does this,
it means you're out of gas.
