Bob,
 Are the "anti-freeze" compounds you mentioned just anti-freeze, or the more
modern anti-freeze/coolants? As for that 'rolling Gernoble' crack.
Interceptor overheating is grossly overstated. True, there was a time before
technolgy improved that the guvmint asked us to keep our cars off the road
while they tested their infrared satelites, and yes, the British tried
towing idling Interceptors on barges behind their ships during the Falklands
war (to foil heat seeking missles), but the experiment was a failure because
the Jensen's rusted away in the salt air within a couple days.
