Randy:
Can you see the wiring color code? If they are going into the
wiring harness that would give a clue. It is possible that the PO
hooked up the light to the existing OD wiring which is in the harness.
The wiring comes out in the engine compartment right where the rear
harness connects to the main on the RH fender well. The OD wiring is
White to the switch and Yellow from the switch ( I think, not looking at
a diagram)
